The Inspiration For Niche

Owner LeNicha Follin was inspired to open Niche Hair and Wig Studio by a long-time client and friend. Witnessing her friend's battle with cancer, LeNicha saw how chemotherapy took more than her friend's hair; it significantly impacted her self-confidence. After her friend purchased an expensive wig from a local retail store, she asked for LeNicha's help.

“I did my best, but the wig was of poor quality and didn’t fit her properly. It just didn't look like her” LeNicha recalls. “She never felt comfortable enough to wear it. The experience left her regretting both the expense and disappointment of trying to find a wig."

Realizing there was no salon in the area specifically dedicated to helping women with hair loss or thinning due to cancer, alopecia, hereditary conditions, or similar issues, LeNicha was inspired to create one. 

The result is Niche. The salon offers professional hair enhancement services in a warm, private setting. Every detail from the expert services to the products used to the studio design has been thoughtfully chosen to give clients the best, most comfortable experience possible while giving their hair and their self-confidence a boost.
